The Roger Williams University (RWU) Community Partnerships Center’s mission is to undertake and complete projects that will benefit the local communities within Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts, while providing RWU students with experience in real-world projects that deepen their academic experiences.
The mission of the Feinstein Center for Service Learning and Community Engagement is to support the University’s core purpose of strengthening society through engaged teaching and learning by meeting the needs of the community through fostering partnerships and offering resources and opportunities for civic engagement.
Recipient of the 2020 Carnegie Classification for Community Engagement
On January 31, 2020, Roger Williams University received the Carnegie Classification for Community Engagement. This makes RWU one of two Rhode Island universities to receive this classification alongside Brown University.
